Finally my problem with Betty has been resolved... on Monday both of us yelled at each other for 20mins then laughed about it 1h later. We agreed on January being the month when we go buy me new stuff.
But i just realised today that I can't find my locker key for my locker at the stables, so instead of going riding today I sat at home all day... and I still have no clue where the hell it could be.... :S:S:SGRRR!
My grandpa and my dad promised ages ago that they would make me a 'tack locker' thing like this one
but we took the measurements and everything like half a year ago and they were 'perfect' but my dad gave it to my grandpa who knew that he would lose it... and well he did. So now we have to plan and measure the locker again :/ and dad said that my grandpa will only work on it in the winter and im afraid that by the time all the planning is done spring will be here and i'll have to wait another year for it to be done. Nevermind :/
Getting to the point of this post :D I never know who to buy an x-mas present... and if I decide to buy them something then WHAT to buy.. I mean the rule is supposed to go something like ' the more you know someone the easier it is to buy them something' but I think it's the exact opposite... because since you know them well you want to get them the perfect present and then you spend ages planning and making/buying their present then they with no effort get you something ... .Like for example last year for my friend Robby I got him a white dressage pad got the silver border sewn on especially for him, then took it to another place and got our teams emblem and his horses and his name embroided on.
Yeah, I found a picture of it :) this was one side and the other had Robby's name on it with another emblem.
Then when it was my birthday... he took me (a few days late) to a tack shop... and told me to pick something... I asked him to tell me what he liked best sicne after all it was HIM that was picking for me... he wouldn't say a thing... so I chose one I liked... turned out it cost more than a fortune... with a sour face he bought it for me, then afterwards told me that next year... we should swap. He'd buy me the cheap thing and i'd buy him something expensive... :/ so much for 'the thought counts' or whatever...
But the thing is, I feel bad if I don't buy the person something thoughtful and personal...
Till next time ;)
